The subterranean termites are usually less than a quarter inch long and about the same size as a pencil's leadThey usually leave a small mass of small brown dust on the ground around your home or patiosThe best way to describe this dust is that it looks like salt and pepper, except for the fact that it is dark brown and light brown, instead of white and black.
